Learn About Eye Care and Assessment

Our presentation evenings offer an opportunity to ask questions about Behavioural Optometry and the role of eye examinations. Past sessions have been described as free, 60-minute events at Bondi and Mosman. Please confirm the current format, duration and any fee with the practice before attending.

Engaging and Informative Sessions

Our presentation evenings are designed to be both informative and engaging. Led by our experienced optometrists, each session covers a range of topics, including:

• Behavioural Optometry: Discuss eye health, visual function and how assessment findings guide individual care.
• Vision Therapy: Ask when a particular vision therapy approach may be considered, its evidence, limitations and follow-up requirements.
• Advanced Eye Health Testing: Get insights into the latest diagnostic tools we use to ensure comprehensive eye care.
• Other Topics include:
• The difference between sight and vision
• The importance of a comprehensive eye examination to assess children’s functional and perceptual skills
• Visual-motor development, eye tracking, focusing and coordination skills
• Symptoms that may warrant an eye examination and the separate role of educational assessment for learning difficulties
• Questions families can ask about a child’s eye-care plan, follow-up and educational support
